Francesco Sardu, Service Designer, is a researcher and UX expert.
In 2010, he obtained a Master degree at the University of Sassari in Publishing & Multimedia Communication. In 2012, a Master degree at Domus Academy in Service & Experience Design. In the following years, he gained some experiences abroad, in Germany in collaboration with SinnerSchrader and previously in Estonia with Velvet Labs. Since 2015, he is working at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele with the Center for advanced technology in health and wellbeing; with the task to apply a service design approach, methodology and tools in order to design healthcare services in a multidisciplinary environment, with doctors, biomedical engineers and developers.
Basically, his duty is to understand and evaluate the user needs in order to design a better user experience. For this reason, he is involved into activities such as benchmarking analysis, questionnaire, interview, direct observation, personas development, use cases definition, requirement classification, concept and scenarios generation, journey mapping, system mapping, stakeholder mapping, service blueprinting, prototyping and usability test.
