Description

The Leica SR GSD 3D Super - Resolution Microscope System features a flexible and reliable microscopy method, Ground State Depletion Microscopy (GSDIM) to achieve super - resolution images (lateral resolution down to ~20nm and axial down to ~70nm).

Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence (TIRF) is a highly sensitive technique to investigate cells at the membranes scale with a resolution in z direction of usually 70 - 250 nm above the coverslip/water interface. Leica TIRF use an intelligent compensation of the penetration depth shift with wavelength change during multicolour experiments with a fully automated alignment to get highest TIRF. The microscope is equipped with an Oko-Lab stage incubator for T, CO2 , O2 and Humidity control to investigate cell phenomena in living cells (bold line).
