Edda Boccia studied biomedical engineering at University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, where she awarded the PhD in March 2014. Afterwards she has been working as Researcher in the Biomedical Physics Research Group of the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, Goettingen, Germany. Her current research focuses on biomedical image analysis, cardiac dynamics, 3D FEM models reconstruction, simulations and mathematical modeling.
Since October 2018, she works as Bioengineer on the development of bioimaging techniques in the Experimental Imaging Center of the Ospedale San Raffaele.
