Ettore Zapparoli is a postdoc at the Center for Omics Sciences, IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, within the Human Health Genomics research area, as computation biologist, since 2017. He gained experience as software developer in the pre-graduating period, working for private companies. In 2013, he graduated as MSc in Molecular Biotechnology (110/110 cum laude) at Molecular Biotechnology Center, University of Turin (Italy) with a thesis in Bioinformatics and Epigenomics. In 2017 he earned a PhD in Agriculture Science and Biotechnology, investigating novel algorithms to study structural rearrangements in complex genomes, at the Applied Genomics Institute (IGA), University of Udine (Italy).
