Silvia Bonfiglio is the coordinator of the Human Health Genomics research area at the Center for Omics Sciences at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, Milano (Italy). Her research interests focus on the application of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for supporting and guiding clinical applications and tumors and genetic diseases treatment.
She is an expert on several library preparations and NGS Techniques, e.g. exome sequencing, whole-genome sequencing, custom targeted-resequencing, RNA-seq.
She holds a BSc in Biotechnology, an MSc in Industrial Biotechnology and a PhD in Biomolecular and Genetic Sciences, earned at University of Pavia, Italy.
