Valeria Mannella is a post-doc at Center for Omics Sciences at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. She is involved in metabolomics studies using of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) from experimental design to sample manipulation and data analysis.

Before joining the Center for Omics Sciences, from 2008 to 2018, she has worked at the Biomolecular NMR Laboratory or IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. During these years, she has acquired strong competences in metabolomics, e.g. expression and purification of recombinant proteins, biochemical assays such as GST pull down, and western blot.

In 2013 she got a PhD in Biochemistry at Università Degli Studi di Milano Statale, studying the role of polycystin1 as a metabolic regulator with in vitro and in vivo metabolomics studies. She has also exploited fluxomics in mouse models, and the structure and function of the N-terminus domain of nephrocystin1.
