Material and animal transfer agreements

Materials (e.g. new molecules, peptides, cell lines, plasmids, animal models etc.), biological samples (hereinafter "Materials") and clinical data of patients or other subjects enrolled at OSR (e.g. clinical database, diagnostic images, etc.) (hereinafter “Data”) are relevant assets for OSR and must be managed in compliance with all the ethical, safety and privacy rules required by current regulations.

Whenever OSR Scientists intend to share the Materials or Data with any academic or industrial counterparty, it is essential to finalize a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) or a Data Transfer Agreement (DTA) to protect the IP, to establish the proper use and define the ownership of the results obtained using the Materials or Data.

Should OSR Scientists wish to use third party Materials or Data to carry out experimental activities promoted by OSR, he/she should report this request to the Business Development Division, for support in finalizing the appropriate agreement and protecting the ownership of the generated results.
