Service designer, Center for advanced technology in health and wellbeing
Mariet NouriJanian, Service designer, got her bachelor degree in Environmental Architecture and master in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 2009 and 2013, respectively. As a result of her master thesis, titled “Isfahan City of Tourism, History, Art and Culture”, about a pedestrian path connecting the old and historical zone of Isfahan and the services necessary for tourists, she became interested in the service design area and, at 2014, got another Master degree in Service Design from the POLI.design, Milan, Italy.
Since September 2015 she is working as a researcher in service design at the Center for Advanced Technology in Health and Wellbeing, at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. She is using design methodologies and tools to understand the users’ needs and expectations, ideate new ideas, and improve services or create new ones. She is also responsible for applying usability test methodologies on the R&D projects of the center. She is appreciating working in collaboration with researchers coming from different fields such as engineers, nutritionists, psychologists, etc., and finding a complete package of the product/service in the end of every project.
