Sara, Bimedical Engineer, got the MSc degree (2019) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Bologna. Previously, she did an internship at the Laboratory of movement analysis and biomechanics at Sol et Salus Hospital (Torre Pedrera, RN), where she conducted research on gait analysis features. Afterwards, she delved into neuroscience and machine learning during her six months of study abroad at University of Reykjavik (Iceland). For her MSc thesis, she designed and tested an experimental protocol for clinical evaluation of patients with neurological vision impairments from head, ocular and body movements. Afterwards, she started an internship at Center for advanced technology in health and wellbeing at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, where now she is collaborating for Horizon 2020 projects as Research fellow. Her research interests lie in wearable sensors, machine learning and digital signal processing.
