Fellow, Proteome biochemistry Unit
Camilla obtained her master degree from the University of Pavia in 2020.
From 2021 she studied the interaction between complex glycosamminoglicans and proteins at “G. Ronzoni” Research Institute of Milan. Then she joined the Biomolecular NMR Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in 2023 to work on the pharmacological targeting of HMGB1 as a therapeutic approach against inflammation associated to cancer.
Currently, she is part of the Proteome Biochemistry Lab and aims to study Aceruloplasminemia (Acp), a rare genetic disease characterized by iron accumulation in the brain that promotes neurodegeneration.
