The X-CLARITY™ is a collection of systems and ready-to-use reagents developed by Logos Biosystems to make electrophoretic tissue clearing simple, rapid, and efficient.

CLARITY™ method developed by the Deisseroth Lab at Stanford University (Chung et al, Nature 497:332-337) is a tissue-clearing method that transforms intact tissue into a hydrogel-hybridized form (crosslinked to a three-dimensional network of hydrophilic polymers) that is fully assembled but optically transparent and macromolecule-permeable. X-CLARITY™ Tissue Clearing System greatly simplifies the CLARITY™ process and allows for faster and more consistent tissue clearing.
