Andrea Gorzanelli

Andrea Gorzanelli graduated with honors in Medical Biotechnologies in 2004 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, specializing in molecular biology and cell cultures. He began his research at the Kimmel Cancer Center in Philadelphia, then joined the National Tumor Institute in Milan, focusing on immunotherapy and gene therapy.
At the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, he advanced research on chromatin dynamics, inherited neuropathies and immune therapies. Since 2018, he has specialized in GMP-compliant biopharmaceutical manufacturing, working on monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and lentiviral vectors.
Currently, he supports advanced cytometry and cell sorting applications at FRACTAL.
