She obtained her Master Degree in Neurobiology at University of Pavia on March 2017 with a thesis on a project she worked on at Mario Negri Institute about Rett Syndrome. After the graduation, she attended a fellowship at EMBL, Heidelberg – Germany, in Dr. F. Peri Developmental Biology group. Back in Italy, she started to work at San Raffaele Institute first in Dr. F. Esposti lab because of her interest in the involvement of the microbiota in autism spectrum disorders. In March 2019, she decided to get closer to her main scientific interest that is the study of neurodevelopmental disorders, and since then she’s working in Dr. D’Adamo group.
