Gianfranco Frigerio
Dr. Gianfranco Frigerio is a researcher with expertise in cheminformatics, metabolomics, exposomics, epidemiology, statistics, toxicology, and analytical chemistry.
Gianfranco conducted the first part of his career at the University of Milan, first as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Food Toxicology (for almost four years) and then at the Laboratory of Environmental and Industrial Toxicology (for nearly five years). The latter, in particular, is the lab where he conducted his PhD (obtained in March 2021).
A milestone of his training was a 3-month experience at the University of Birmingham, U.K., at the Mass Spectrometry Phenome Centre and Metabolomics Training Centre.
In 2022 and 2023, he conducted a 2-year post-doc at the Luxembourg Centre for System Biomedicine of the University of Luxembourg, within the Environmental Cheminformatics group, where he deepened his skills in cheminformatics.
Since January 2024, he has started to work as a researcher at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, within the Center for Omics Sciences.
