Angelo Manfredi is Associate Professor of Rheumatology and Head of the Unit of Autoimmunity & Vascular In Inflammation at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele and IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, Milan. He has been consistently working on the means by which intracellular antigens become immunogenic and on the mechanisms that have evolved to curb the initiation and persistence of inflammatory disease.
