Davide Testa is a clinical immunologist working in the Unit of Immunogenetic, Leukemia Genomics and Immunobiology, where he focuses on the immune response to acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa in 2019 with a thesis on autoantibodies in IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD), became a registered medical doctor (MD) in 2020, and completed his residency in allergy and clinical immunology in 2025. His thesis, conducted during his external rotation at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, explored the alternative splicing of MHC class I molecules in AML patients who relapsed after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Although he has a clinical background, he currently works as a biological data analyst and bioinformatician. In particular, he is currently analyzing spatial proteomics images.
