Her expertise spans endothelial cell culture, advanced imaging, protein biochemistry, mouse handling, and omics technologies. She holds significant recognition for her work on diverse organotypic vasculatures, notably brain and lung endothelial cells. In 2022, Monica assumed the role of Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher at Inverso Lab, focusing on investigating the vascular mechanisms governing liver regeneration and the progression of NASH.
