My research activities focus at the interface between neuroscience and behavioral disorders, with the aim of increasing scientific knowledge and developing effective diagnosis and treatment options in the broad field of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. Author of >200 papers on these topics (H index 77), my areas of expertise encompass clinical psychobiology, in vivo imaging, genetics, pharmacology, neuropsychology, neurophysiology, and clinical research, to face the questions of modern clinical psychiatry, neurology, and clinical psychology. In particular in the last decade I also focused my attention in identifying effective predictors of antidepressant response and recurrence in mood disorders
