Dr. Petrelli is a physician-scientist with a clinical background in Internal Medicine. Dr. Petrelli has longlasting experience in translational immunology with a focus on the immunobiology of type 1 diabetes (T1D) and tissue-specific regulation of adaptive immune responses at the target sites of chronic inflammatory diseases.
