After graduating in pharmaceutical chemistry at the University of Padua, Paola Albertini worked in Quality Assurance Units (GLP and GCP) in the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, and academia for more than 25 years developing skills, knowledge, and experience. She started her activities in SR-Tiget in 2011 as a GLP Quality Assurance consultant with the goal to set up a GLP Test Facility in the academic context, eligible to conduct preclinical studies on gene therapy products according to GLP principles. Her activities included the identification and definition of the applicable GLP requirements for facilities, equipment, and personnel. Paola Albertini is part of the GLP SR-Tiget Test Facility management since October 2018. In this role, she is responsible and accountable for GLP principles knowledge, application, and maintenance to ensure that the GLP quality system is functioning properly and that the GLP facilities and the preclinical studies/activities comply with the quality requirements and standards and data integrity.
