After graduating inbiology at University of Milan, Marina Radrizzani worked for about ten years in immune-oncology research. She then focused on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, covering different rolesinbiotech and academic organizations operating according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), acquiring 20 years of experience in development, validation and transfer to GMP of production and quality control methods for gene and cell therapy products. Marina Radrizzani joined SR-Tiget in 2019, with the goal to complete the set-up of the Process Development Lab (PDL), a new facility within the Institute. As PDL Facility Manager, she is now coordinating the optimization, scale-up and pre-clinical validation of protocols generated in SR-Tiget research laboratories, with the aim of making them suitable for transfer to specialized contract manufacturing organizations operating according toGMP, a crucial step towards clinical translation.
