Stefano joined Fondazione Telethon in April 2015 as Clinical Development & Operations Head, which included the role of SR-Tiget Clinical Trial Office Coordinator. Since 2017 Stefano is holding the role of SR-Tiget Clinical Lab Coordinator and from 2020 of Tiget Clinical Lab Supervisor. Previously, he has worked in the pharmaceutical industry, where he started as a Clinical Monitor in 1990. Over the years Stefano has covered different roles in Clinical Research and Operations, working in different therapeutics areas and clinical phases. After a couples of years in Clinical Quality Assurance, in 2001 he became Head of Clinical Science and Study Operations in GSK, at the Verona Centre of Excellence in Drug Discovery, a role he maintained until the closure of the GSK research site in 2010.  He was then Head of Clinical Science in Aptuit (Verona) and Head of Clinical Operations and Training in Novartis Vaccine (NVGH). Stefano is also responsible of the Fondazione Telethon program ‘Just Like Home’ aimed at offering support to patients and families coming to Milan to receive gene therapy.
