Andrea Salonia, MD, is a full staff urologist at the Unit of Urology IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, Milan, Italy, and the current Director of Urological Research Institute at the same academic hospital. Dr. Salonia received his medical degree from the University of the Milan School of Medicine and completed his residency in urology at the University of Trieste, in Trieste, Italy, and his residency in endocrinology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele of Milan, Italy.
Dr. Salonia has written and coauthored over 250 peer reviewed journal articles and some book chapters. He is an official Editorial Board member of European Urology and deputy-EIC of The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
