Alessia Di Coste accomplished both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Novara (NO), Italy. During her studies, she firstly delved into regenerative medicine, focusing on the Characterization of a Natural Hydrogel for Soft Tissue Regeneration. Additionally, she explored microbiology, specifically testing Probiotics to contain Oral Pathogen Infections and prevent Oral Cancer. During her Master’s Degree program, she spent a couple of months at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in Barcelona, Spain, where she gained insights into the development of a microbiota-based diagnostic and prognostic model. Currently, she is dedicated to advancing translational medicine in the field of bladder cancer.
