Caterina Oneto is a research technician; she has graduated in Biology at the University of Milan (Università Degli Studi) and earned an MSc in Forensic Science at London South Bank University.

She performed her undergraduate internship at G. Lanzani Laboratory (Hospital of Bergamo), where she was involved in a research project dealing with investigating the interaction between mesenchymal stromal cells and human leukemic cells. Here she gained experience with cell culture and GMP procedures.

During her UK experience, she improved her skills with different laboratory instruments and techniques, focusing on DNA analysis.

Currently, she works at the Center for Omics Sciences as a lab technician, specifically involved in a project about prostate cancer. She is gaining experience in library preparation, DNA extraction from FFPE and Next-Generation Sequencing.
