Her research interests focus on applying Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) on projects focused on liver metastases that arise from colorectal and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas, especially on the study of the anti-tumoral immune response.

She holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Milan. She previously worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) and the Department of Health Sciences (Unimi). Her post-doctoral work focused on studying the relationships between microbiome and antitumor immunity with the “omics” approaches.

She is an expert on several library preparations and NGS Techniques, e.g. 16S rRNA seq, RNA-seq, exome sequencing, whole-genome sequencing.
