Lorenza Moronetti
Lorenza Moronetti is a researcher at at the Centre for Omics Sciences at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, Milano (Italy).
After her MSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Milan she worked in the Haematology department of Policlinico di Milano, then moved to IFOM as Research fellow.
She relocated to US in 2009, where she worked as Research Specialist in the Lamitina Lab at UPenn (Philadelphia, PA), focusing on disclosing the mechanisms of osmotic regulation, among other scientific interests.
In 2012, she moved to Boston, where she was the lab manager and research assistant at the Blackwell Lab, Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA). After many years in Academia, she accepted a position in Industry for a Start-up that quickly became a promising biotech Company in Cambridge, MA. Here, she implemented several unconventional technologies and pipelines.
In 2023, she moved back to Milan and joined the COSR, where she is going to be the reference person for the single-cell sequencing workflow.
