Claudia Felici is a research scientist at the Center for Omics Sciences at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. Within the center, she is developing a platform for single cell analysis to obtain key information on the molecular mechanisms involved in pathological processes.
She received her MSc degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Bari in 2014 and the specialization in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Napoli in 2017. In the same year, she started a PhD course in Biomolecular, Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences at Oncology Research Unit of the University of Bari. During her PhD studies, she has focused on optimizing new techniques of enrichment and detection of circulating tumor cells (CTC) in patients with solid tumors. In particular, she is an expert in microfluidic devices for CTC isolation and designed multiplex ddPCR assays to molecular characterization of single cells.
