Valentina Giansanti holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Milano-Bicocca, as well as a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from University La Sapienza of Rome.
Her expertise lies in the development and application of artificial intelligence methods for the analysis of biological data.
In 2025, she was awarded the Fondazione Veronesi Fellowship for a research project focused on developing a novel approach to identify functional modules in drugs-resistance populations.
Valentina is currently a computational biologist at the Center for Omics Science, IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, Milano (Italy). She is a member of the λ-lab, where she contributes to the creation of innovative strategies for analysing complex biological data.
