A techincian position is currently available at the Autoimmune pathogenesis Unit, headed by Marika Falcone. The main research focus is to investigate the role of gut microbiome and of the intestinal barrier integrity in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, such as type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis.
