Experimental and clinical medicine


The Experimental and clinical medicine curriculum is an interdisciplinary training program which is at the confluence of basic and clinical research, in order to create researches oriented toward the translational field.
PhD projects cover different fields of medical and health science, and are aimed to directly improve the current standard-of-reference for disease diagnosis and/or treatment (for a list of projects relating to this curriculum click here).
Organization
The curriculum involves mainly the medical departments, surgical teams and hospital services of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, but also 7 research groups. The main aim of this curriculum is to study the pathophysiological basis of human diseases and investigating new molecular approaches for diagnosis and therapy. Explore the research groups below.
