Basic and applied immunology and oncology
The curriculum of Basic and applied immunology and oncology (BAIO) offers basic and translational research projects employing cutting-edge methodologies such as genetically-modified mice models, intra-vital imaging, genomic analyses and gene-therapy approaches (for a list of projects relating to this curriculum click here)
In addition to the general activities of the PhD, the Curriculum offers training in presentation skills through progress reports, typically organized in a workshop format, Journal Clubs, and a hands-on course in bioinformatics.
